To reflect its orientation as a large-sized diamond & jewelry exhibition and sales center in Haikou Free Trade Zone and to attract professional buyers and visitor groups from all over the globe, two conceptual proposals of different styles have been developed to create a shopping paradise with a strong sense of international luxury and modern fashion. The gold-themed proposal, “Jewelry Box”, highlights the sense of boutique luxury of the space. The ceiling modeling and decorative settings at the entrance enhance visual feelings through material and light sensation contrasts, and the light-belt trans-reflective zone not only defines the central image zone but also ingeniously separates the functional zones on various floors; it can also realize visual extensions through the extending ribbons of the “Jewelry Box”. The silver-themed proposal, “Refraction of Light Waves”, highlight the sense of metropolis of contemporary design, and uses irregular geometric cuttings to create a stereoscopic impression. The combinations of geometric spaces and sculpture-molded ceiling feel like the dazzling cut surfaces of diamonds. In terms of design techniques, it conveys an artistic sense, and embodies the eternal and graceful beauty of diamonds.
