Mishidu Town, Songjiang
The base is located at the southwest corner of Songnan Suburb Park I, Chedun Town, Songjiang District, Shanghai, taking up a total of about 125,000 ㎡ of land. Generally L-shaped, about 850 meters long from east to west. While preparing the general layout, the long site is partitioned by making the most of the current roads, three key cultural elements (millennial ferry, three shipyards and industrial remains) and other natural boundaries. Meanwhile, giving consideration to the particularity of its form, the site is divided into three areas, i.e., A, B and C.
And the program intends to continue the northern cornfield texture in the plane layout, hiding the building volume therein tactfully, and gaining the broad scale facing to the park and Huangpu River.
