Yongqing Urban Planning Exhibition Hall
Located in the central gateway area of Yongqing New Area, the project has become an important landmark architecture. As the urban planning exhibition platform of Yongqing, the exhibition hall will be built into a brand-new window of cultural and artistic exchange, and a cultural landmark shaping the image of this city.
Based on the axisymmetric major block, the main façade of the architecture is designed with two symmetric and echoing prominent blocks according to plane space functions in the east and west. The main entrance gate is located designed in the middle to enhance entrance visibility and strength the ceremonial sense. The main entrance square is built with a landscape main axis and an architectural central axis to set off the overall magnificence of the architecture. The architectural façade uses stones and glass (respectively accounting for 70% and 30%) to present a concise yet magnificent appearance on the whole. The large-area use of stones can more perfectly embody its decency and steadiness, and highlight its features as a landmark architecture.
