China Skyland, Kunming
The project, located at Dongbaishahe area of Kunming's Eastern Development Zone, is adjacent to Qingyu Road on the west and Shiwa Road on the South. The plot of land is 1120 meters long from south to north and 510 meters wide from south to north. The project is positioned as a high-end ecological upland residential community consisting of community center, business clubhouse, street-side commerce, low-rise, multi-storey, and high-rise(≤18F) buildings.
The design philosophy of the project's overall layout planning:
A harmonious symbiosis adapted to nature:
-In harmony with and become part of nature: The buildings should be in harmony with and become part of nature. The collocation of building sizes and colors should be in harmony with the environment and should add an attractive finishing touch to the environment.
-Organic growth: The residential units should, in reference to the traditional "seal-like compound" spatial pattern, form housing clusters of similar patterns; a correlation between the housing clusters should be identified naturally by associating and comparing the similarity and discrepancy between the clusters for organic reproduction and spontaneous growth of the clusters to achieve the effect of "the art that beats nature".
-Organic integration of landforms: Good preservation means minimum encroachment of land resources and minimum damage to landforms and mountainforms so that the landscape is least altered.
Land preservation - The buildings are combined in the most economic way to save land resource and achieve good equality in terms of building area and courtyard area.
Adaptation to local conditions - the buildings come into contact with the ground by means adapted to the specific terrain features.
