Renqiu Urban Planning Exhibition Hall
While Renqiu is a gateway city of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the exhibition hall is a gateway and landmark architecture in this city. It is window through which Renqiu exhibits its prosperity to the outside world and welcomes and learns from the outside world. It is designed with the hope that the gateway and landmark architecture will link up the inside with the outside, connect the ancient and the contemporary and accomplish the tasks of inheritance and development.
The exhibition hall in the center of the base conforms to the urban planning texture, and its main pedestrian entrance is designed in the south of the base, and combined with the rich nodes on the urban landscape square; there is also the internal setback green space along the national road in the east, which increases the privacy of VIP and meeting entrances; the square overall layout also enhances the sense of orderliness. Based on the exhibition hall as its center, the architecture uses two L-shaped volumes to surround it, implying the continuous expansion of urbanization and the continuous development and change of the city. Meanwhile, the overall form also employs the interspersion of glass and stone volumes as its main design language.
