The site is located in Dali, Yunnan, in the east of Cangshan Mountain and in the west of Erhai Lake.

The design concept: to understand the growth of the village, perfectly match the contour of the land and use the natural landscape; to imitate the spatial configuration of local village residence instead of simply copying it; to plan and design the space strictly according to the contour of the land, the surface area, and the height; to take advantage of the peninsula and the three-sided picturesque natural view of Erhai Lake.
