The crape-myrtle expo park is located at Juntun, Chengdu, and the planned landscape area is approximately 20,000 square meters. In consideration of that currently the park's entrance is V-shaped, crape-myrtle isolation belts are planned in the design to separate and guide the pedestrian and vehicular circulations. As for the design of the cultural square, the current jardinieres are changed to signboards to fully expand the currently available space of the site in order to allow for more possibilities of future commercial activities. In the meantime, themed images and sculptures are introduced as new appeals of the scenic area.
