The project, located in Qingyuan, Guangdong, is proposed in line with the development trend of two-way opening and aims to work with Guangzhou, the core city of Pearl River delta, to build a pan-Pearl River delta cooperation platform for intensifying the cooperation between the Pearl River delta and inland hinterland and building a north hub for the two-way opening of the Pearl River delta. An urban spatial structure featuring "One core, two centers, a cross-axis and a charming and colorful ring belt" is designed for connecting the vocational college in the north and Changlong Village in the south. The design mainly focuses on commerce, cultural and creative industries, industrial services and travel & leisure functions. One ring: A charming functional ring consisting of Guangqing Avenue, Renmin Road, Xingfu Avenue designed to display the charm of the new city and connect the administration area to the city's public service nodes. It is for liquidizing land value by connecting the three major nodes, i.e. the front square of high-speed railway station, the new city's core and the rail transit stations to the six major functional areas with Xingfu Avenue.
