Dali-Yunxiangshan is positioned as an international travel and sports health town. Due to the complex changes of the original terrain, the planning layout continues the traditional mountain village form of Dali, and the overall planning pattern of large scattered small settlements is presented, with the settlements scattered and hidden in the natural environment, so that the natural mountain form can be well preserved. The public space system of "street - lane - square - courtyard - field" is continued in the settlement space, and the architectural layout adopts a small, scattered and hidden layout.

The design team deeply researched Dali folk architecture and contemporary living habits, and used the courtyard of Yunxiangshan to connect the Erhai Sea, nature, culture, architecture and humanities to create a beautiful Dali residence. With the love for Dali and the beautiful plot of living in this land, Yunxiangshan deeply considers the needs of contemporary people living and vacation, and the small courtyard overlooking the sea is the most complete presentation of Dali's wind, flowers and snow, the town life culture inherited for thousands of years, and the different life aspirations of Dali in everyone's heart.
