Located in the center of Tongzhou District, Beijing Optical Instrument Plant will be transformed into a unique cultural, business and commercial space landscape. It’s designed to be an art and cultural exchange center for exhibitions and events with low building coverage intensity, large planting area, independent spaces, intelligent management and high quality supporting facilities.

With different measures to repair the building of distinct facets and large space, the industrial style of the buildings is reserved to the largest extent. The sporadic buildings are renovated and connected using landscape elements, forming a cluster combining old and new buildings. Reservation of original style and layout of the cluster shows respect to the history and culture and allows the reinvigoration of Beijing Optical Instrument Plant.
